Hey I love the format of Classic Cool. I stumbled across it searching the am dial out of boredom last week after returning to Houston on a flight from Atlanta. I guess it was fate because I certainly wasn’t looking for music on the am dial.
I hate the typical Houston radio format that seems to have an ever decreasing playlist regardless of the music style. I travel a fair amount on business and I actually enjoy listening to small town radio stations that will play a huge variety of music. I sometimes think the oldies and classic rock station here must not own but about 200 tunes and they rotate through them playing about 40 different songs a week at a time.
I can’t wait for the weather to get a little warmer and I plan to float in my pool sipping on a beverage and listening to Classic Cool. Keep it going man!
Regards,
Eric

Greetings, Classic Cool Community
Three cheers for the Renfrow/Richards Reappearance!!
While I love the tunes we all know and can sing along with, what makes good radio entertainment for me are the tunes that make you ask “What’s that?” or even better “Who’s that?” — the old “I know that voice, but…” feeling.
Thanks for bringing back the Good Radio.

#1 Ronnie, you’ve been owing us a “Strictly Spike” for the longest. Time to pay up!
#2 Ain’t nobody cooler than Leon Redbone. ‘Nuff said.
